A group of professional and amateur artists gathers to display their artworks. The works are diverse but are commonly inspired by the culture and history of Libya.

The exhibition marks the launch of the Tilwan platform, (a platform for creative arts, art empowerment, and art edification which are inspired by Libya and its culture, tradition and modern and ancient history).

The works exhibited are a combination of architecture, photography, drawings, calligraphy, and digital art, presented in a non-standard youthful style which reflects the artistic identities and perspectives of the artists.

In addition, the event includes a screening of a short documentary that both discusses the artistic situation in Libya on social and institutional dimensions and presents the experiences of some Libyan artists in interacting with the community in order push the boundaries of art, especially in the current situation.

Date: 24 and 25 November from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm
